Parts ordered today.

Ordered all the parts today. So now starts the planning and build. Sorry for my bad English btw. Hope you understand anyway...
I have to learn how to set up all electronics. Pilot, GPS, telementry, FPV.
The plan is to build the frame/body in som sort of foam sheets and strengthend with glassfiber and epoxy. The motor bracket will be made of aluminum or carbonfiber.
I choosed the Quanum i8 transmitter, it is a simple radio but it is som easy to use. Espesially selection of modes and later a camera gimbal so i can easy point the camera wherever I want to.

I hope this ends better then the helicopter. My som said: That was really fuck you!

Stay tuned for more...

Failure..

This is why I gave up the helicopter. Just rebulild it, and was about to try it when I accidently pushed the 3D button an de motor started at full throttle. The helicopter was between my legs so I`m Lucky to have something to pee With.....

This is my part list.

This is the parts I`m going for:

Flight Controller, GPS and telementry.
HKPilot Mega 2.7 With OSD and LEA 6H GPS
This has all features. And the price is Nice!

Motors, ESC, and propeller:
LDPOWER D450 Multicopter Power System 2810-720kv
12" /5,5 carbonfiber propeller.

Reciever:
Quanum i8 /Turnigy 9X
Not sure yet, Quanum has a 6 posisjon turn switch for modes, but Turnigy is a better radio!

FPV:
Skyzone Plug and Play FPV 500
Overkill for my hubby Project but this has a long range and a good camera.

DIY Quadracopter

Now, the hubby is awake from hibernation, but now I want to build myself a drone.
Here is the first thougts:

This is not a ordinary quadcopter, but one that should be made in light solid materials, and to be able to land and take off from the water. This is to film the boat from the air when I fish.

It should be a steady platform, and I have to build myself a gyro stabilized gimbal, to provide good film.

I've looked at a lot of parts online, and it is not easy to select components, since I do not know what weight and dimensions are yet.

It's the drone Lily who have inspired me, if I choose the right parts I might get a drone that can follow me to shoot film..

My requirements are:-protected Propellers and engines, also landed in water.-Large Propellers for most efficiency and as quietly as possible.-Ducted, For better utilization of the propellers.

Electronics protected from water, etc. in a separate "tight" rooms.-Should Have all the features failsafe, return to home mm.
-Data On screen (telementry)-FPV So I can easily orient the flight when it is far away.
-GPS Navigation.

There are new regulations limiting the flight a lot. Actually I do not understand any of the background for theese regulatiosn other than that I think this is just to limit the use and enjoyment.https://lovdata.no/dokument/SF/forskrift/2015-11-30-1404

Feel free to give tips and advice if you have.
